Professional No-Code Development Course Syllabus

Course Description:

This 3-week course provides a comprehensive introduction to the world of no-code development. No prior coding experience is required as students will learn how to create sophisticated applications without writing traditional code. The curriculum offers an in-depth analysis of visual programming techniques, component-based architecture, and the application of no-code solutions across various industries. The course covers topics including data workflow, API integration, modular application design, and concerns regarding scalability and performance optimization. The course culminates in a capstone project, preparing students to apply no-code development principles to real-world scenarios and achieve certification.


Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  2. Navigate a no-code platform interface and utilize its key features effectively.

  • Recommended Resources: No-code platform documentation, additional industry-specific materials as recommended throughout the course

Grading:

You can expect to spend approximately 40 hours per week on this course, including class time, section meetings, and independent work. The grading scale will comprise the following parts:

  • Attendance and Participation (20%): Active class participation is crucial. Each student is allowed to miss two days without explanation.
  • Weekly Assignments (30%): One assignment due each week. The lowest grade will be dropped.
  • Midterm Group Capstone Project (20%): Due at the end of Week 2.
  • Final Individual Capstone Project (25%): Due at the end of Week 3.
  • Certification Prep Quiz (5%): Taken during Week 3.
